MARC is looking for an undergraduate student seeking credit for an unpaid internship.

 

Intern Description

MARC is looking for a Social Media and Community intern to support the digital media promotional campaign and attendee experience of The MARC Summit. The MARC Summit is a world class digital experience that will take place on December 3rd and 4th.

 

In partnership with our Global Brand and Strategy Communication Department and our Agency partner, the duties and responsibilities may include:

  • Assist with the design and execution of the digital media campaign destined to promote The MARC Summit
  • Create weekly social media posts to promote the event through various social media channels
  • Assist in content distribution
  • Track social media engagement
  • Assist with Influencer Outreach
  • Spearhead Paid Media effort
  • Respond to event attendees’ and prospect inquiries pre, during and post event
  • Active support team during live event
    • Interactions with attendees
    • Moderation of online engagements

 

Qualifications

  • Must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in digital communications (or related field such as advertising or Journalism) or in Gender Studies
  • Impeccable oral and written communication skills
  • Experience with the major social media platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter
  • Experience with content creation via Cloud based design platform (i.e. Canva)
  • Experience with Social Media scheduling tools (i.e. Hootsuite)
  • Knowledge of social media analytics software including Facebook Insights, Google Analytics and Twitter Analytics to track audience engagement and campaign performance
  • Demonstrated interest with the masculinity conversation strongly valued

 

Interns will work directly with Ludo Gabriele (Sr. Director, MARC Branding), who will supervise, train, and observe their work efforts and tasks.

 

Schedule
This internship is a part-time position, requiring approximately 10-15 hours per week. The length of the internship and weekly work schedule are flexible. Interns must have the ability to work from home.

This internship is unpaid and open only to students seeking credit for an internship.
