Our research-based, experiential learning disrupts traditional D&I approaches and equips people of all genders with the skills to enhance gender partnership and accelerate the creation of inclusive workplaces.


Summary of Responsibilities
The Senior Associate of MARC Alumni Learning & Engagement is responsible for supporting the design and execution of a comprehensive alumni learning and engagement strategy. In this role, the Senior Associate will engage alumni of MARC programs in continued learning opportunities and community building activities. They will cultivate a community of “MARC Ambassadors” – highly engaged alumni and thought leaders in the healthy masculinity and gender equity space – who can amplify the MARC mission and enhance the learning of the greater alumni community. Responsible for maintaining regular communication channels with alumni, including a newsletter, discussion forums, webinars, and direct conversations, the Senior Associate will serve as a representative of the MARC mission and brand, committed to enhancing the holistic MARC learning experience of participants.


Essential Functions

  • Support the design and execution of a short- and long-term alumni learning and engagement strategy, aligned with the larger MARC and overall Catalyst strategies and value proposition
  • Convene MARC alumni to deepen individual and organizational impact through on-going discussion, learning, and collaboration
  • In partnership with the Vice President, Global MARC Learning, build learning opportunities that enhance impact for alumni as part of an ongoing, post-workshop, journey
  • Showcase committed MARC alumni and ambassadors, providing a platform to amplify MARC community voices and offering opportunities to share best practices and cascade learning across and within organizations
  • Curate a globally-relevant conversation, through formal (newsletter) and informal (convening dialogues) channels
  • Collaborate with MARC Client Partners to ensure a seamless integration of MARC alumni engagement with other client activities
  • Serve as a facilitator/speaker/moderator for thematic conversations, leveraging subject matter expertise in the area of diversity, equity, and inclusion, with a specific focus on men as advocates


Knowledge and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree and 3 to 5 years of consulting, facilitation, learning design, community management, account management, or social impact experience
  • Understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion topics, including specific expertise/interest in engaging men and/or healthy masculinity
  • Experience with/knowledge of corporate diversity and inclusion across geographies and cultures preferred
  • Strong customer orientation and commitment to driving globally-relevant learning and impact through one-to-one and scalable communication and convening approaches
  • Project management skills and ability to assess the current alumni learning engagement offerings for the user experience and contribute to a successful end-to-end experience for MARC participants and alumni
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Preference for additional languages beyond English (e.g. Spanish, French, German)
  • Proactive and works well independently to find innovative solutions
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Community management skills and keen awareness of trends that may impact adult learning, community building, and sustained engagement
  • Ability to manage a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and limited turnaround time
  • Strong computer and technical skills; proficient with MS Office and Zoom
