Summary of Team
Catalyst Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) provides regional and globally relevant and innovative solutions to promote workplace inclusion within Catalyst Supporter companies. The Catalyst EMEA team is looking to hire a Senior Associate to join the Global Corporate Engagement team’s Central Desk, working alongside Catalyst’s Relationship Managers in the region.


Summary of Responsibilities
The Senior Associate will be responsible for maintaining strong and productive working relationships with assigned Supporter companies through proactive and responsive customer engagement activities. S/he will actively engage Supporter-level contacts and will monitor and guide Supporter activity, diligently recording Supporter interactions via Salesforce. The Senior Associate will work to support collaboration across and within regional offices and departments in addition to further cultivating external relationships with key stakeholders.


This role provides a motivated, client service-oriented individual with an innovative opportunity to pilot and develop the Central Desk role supporting Catalyst’s EMEA and APAC regions. The candidate should be able to function in an untraditional, creative and relatively autonomous work environment and possess first-rate listening and communication skills. A high degree of cultural awareness and sensitivity, as well as the ability to forge strong relationships in a virtual setting with both clients and team members, is also vital.


Responsibilities

  • Via the Catalyst Central Desk, serve as a Relationship Manager and oversee a portfolio of Supporter companies across the EMEA and APAC regions varying in company size, industry and focus
  • Develop and proactively manage relationships with contacts at assigned Supporter companies through email, phone, video (and from time to time in-person), paying close attention to regional nuances
  • Respond to Supporter inquiries, provide relevant resources, and direct supporters to appropriate Catalyst experts and teams
  • Update Salesforce database and records: engagement tracking, interaction notes and account administration
  • Work cross-functionally across all Catalyst teams to effectively manage Supporter expectations and deliver on engagements
  • Liaise with EMEA team to provide report back on regional engagement and impact
  • Communicate and help to cultivate opportunities where companies demonstrate interest in joining Catalyst as a Supporter company


Develop Expertise

  • Build and maintain in-depth knowledge of Catalyst Supporter benefits, research, and services
  • Support successful convening events in the region


Qualifications

  • 4-5 years’ experience in a customer service-oriented role
  • Higher education qualification or equivalent experience
  • Ability to live and work virtually in Switzerland
  • Fluent English (oral and written); other European languages a plus, but not required
  • Ability to address Catalyst supporter needs on EMEA and APAC time zones
  • Strong interest in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion with supporting examples
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills and a professional demeanor well-suited to corporate environments
  • High level of computer literacy in a networked Windows environment, including database management and word processing/pc skills (knowledge of Salesforce, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook a plus)
  • Exposure to handling sensitive company documents; confidentiality required
  • Possess a collaborative work culture
  • Highly responsive in fast-paced environment
