About the Role

This highly visible position will report directly to the VP of Strategic Planning & Operations and will work closely with all departments at Catalyst as well as partner with all members of the senior leadership team.  This role will gain detailed knowledge of Catalyst’s financial and operational performance and offers broad exposure to our mission and organization.

 

Responsibilities

  • Drive continuous improvement through automation, develop robust reporting processes, and assist in optimizing critical workflows.
  • Elevate the use of financial tools and systems to drive business accountability by automating monthly revenue and expense reporting.
  • Produce monthly reporting for management highlighting variances to budget and forecast.
  • Aid in setting annual budget targets, the budget process and the preparation of the annual financial budget presentation for the senior leadership team and the Board of Directors.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) & monthly reporting of key business metrics that aid the senior leadership team in better assessing company performance.
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis (e.g., business plans, assessing the viability of strategic initiatives, etc.).

 

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years’ relevant experience
  • Bachelor's Degree, in accounting or finance preferred
  • Advanced Excel and ability to build complex financial models
  • Experience with Sage Intacct strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships
  • Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail
